This design features a distinctive under-over twist, two waves flowing in the same direction but in opposite positions, creating the look of an intricate knot. What I love about this ring is that it’s not quite a weave and not exactly a braid, but something in between. The opposing yet harmonious movement of the lines symbolizes a couple’s union: two unique individuals moving forward together as one. It makes a beautiful statement, whether as a wedding band or simply a meaningful piece "just because."
The ring has a dark satin finish, slightly deeper in tone than a standard satin or polished silver. It adds a subtle richness and brings out the texture and detail of the twist. The result is a ring that not only looks elegant but also feels incredibly smooth and comfortable to wear.
My Design Process
Designing rings is a true passion of mine. Ideas often come to me unexpectedly, and when they do, I feel inspired to bring them to life. Many of my custom designs begin with a few rough concepts, and from there, I jump straight into my CAD software. While sketching on paper can be helpful, I’ve learned that some ideas simply don’t translate well at scale, especially when the details are too fine to fabricate. That’s why I often prefer starting directly in CAD.
After years of working with the software, it feels like a natural extension of my creativity. It’s not a barrier, it’s a tool that enhances the process and allows me to build things I couldn’t have drawn by hand. Designing and crafting custom jewelry is exciting because there are so few limitations. With enough imagination and skill, ideas can become reality.
A size 6.25 is about 8mm wide and about 2.2mm thick. As the ring size goes up the width and thickness go up by just a little bit. Contact me for specific details for your finger size.
Thank you for you support in growing my business. I could not do it without you.
