I made this many years ago for my wife. The leather is cow hide and very soft brown. I hand stitched the seams with leather cord that I made from the same leather. I also handmade the brass findings and buckle for the strap. If you look at the two dots on the front bottom part, that is where I made it close with leather loops going over some coconut shell buttons. This bag is not lined, but I plan on lining my bags in the future. The best thing about the leather is that it's thickand will last a lifetime or two if it's taken care of.
I made this ring in CAD software called Matrix and rendered it in V-ray. I was just playing around to see if I could get some good looking wood textures to render nicely with the ring.
This gourd canteen is a small one. I made leather straps and have a yucca cork for it. I love gourd canteens for the great way it keeps water cool in the summer. I never have to drink hot water with these. Every gourd had a different flavor to no flavor, but you get use to it. I love to use gourd canteens. You just have to prove you can use one without breaking it on a camp out.
I made this yucca flute from a yucca plant. I used soapstone as the piece on top and leather to carry it around with. I also wood burned some cool patterns around the end of it. The flute plays nicely and I always use it when I go camping.
I made this corrugated cooking pot years ago. I use it to cook in when I go camping. Works so well I would hate if it ever broke. It was made by hand and fired in a campfire.
Concept of a ring. Made in CAD and I would probably make this in white gold if I were to make it. Fits a 1ct round center stone.
This ring I made in Zbrush and Matrix. I've never physically made this ring yet, but I will at some point. It may be top heavy, but you'll know it's on your finger. lol
This owl concept is not my idea. There was a sketch online that an artist had made and I was asked to turn it into 3D. So I did and then rendered it with a foresty feel to it. Made in Zbrush and rendered in Zbrush.
I rendered this soccer ball inside V-ray for Rhino. It was a fun learning project on placing texture maps all over the ball in the right places.
This choker I made and sold a while back. It is made with bone hairpipe beads and brass beads. I added elk commercial tanned leather to the ends. The choker was strung with real sinew cordage that I made.
This was a practice sculpt of a lion head. I was also practicing making and rendering hair in Zbrush. It was just a fun practice project.
A seahorse I made in Zbrush and rendered in v-ray.
I also made this coil pot canteen out of clay. I fired it in a campfire and then made a cork from yucca. The leather straps hold it and I made yucca cordage for decore around the top part. The paint was also all natural. It's heavy and does not carry a lot of water, but works very well. :)
This family crest was made in CAD. I used two programs for this - Matrix and Zbrush.
